Overview
Created a custom hand brake system to enhance realism in racing simulations such as Assetto Corsa. The system utilizes a 3D-printed mounting bracket and lever assembly integrated with an Arduino nano. Actuation of the lever drives a servo mechanism that mechanically engages the controller's hand brake input. This design replicates real-world hand brake operation, resulting in improved control and a more realistic drifting experience.
CAD & FDM (3D Printing)
3D modeled and printed a mount and lever with a tension spring system to return the lever to a vertical position after it is pulled.
